Nail of the Week: Starry Warm Blue

To start the week, I decided to paint my nails again. Since I am loving light nail colors lately, I decided to get a baby blue one and just accentuated it with glitters and stars.

I don't know exactly when this trend came out. Painting your ring finger with different color. In my case, I designed my ring finger with glitters and a star. Just to make it so cute. :)

My ring finger on a closer look.

These are the colors I used. San San Nail Polish in Warm Blue and Chic Nail Color in Glaze.

How did you start your week? Does painting your nails give you excitement as well?

Your Nails Can't Go Wrong with Caronia Nail Polish Remover

Hey everyone! How was your week so far? Mine was okay, yah yah.. Nothing much. :D

So I decided to let my nails breath and every time I do this, I always says thank you to my nails' friend.

I have been using Caronia Nail Polish Remover for a while now because it works wonder on my nails. It actually removes the nail polish, even the glittery ones so perfectly. And one thing that I LOVE about this is it does not dry up my nails. Also, it does not leave any white stains around my nails not like the plain acetone.

The product is in a plastic bottle with a twist cap. The nozzle is covered with a foam with foil (ugh, sorry can't really describe, but you know what I mean right?) to prevent the liquid from spilling. So what I do is just make a small hole on it, just enough to dispense the product on a cotton ball.

I would definitely buy another one and probably use this everytime for cleaning my nails.

How about you? What product do you use to erase those polishes on your nails? I would love to hear about it.

Please don't forget to subscribe/follow. :)

Nail of the Day: Dotted Gold

Hi everyone!

Finally the sun showed up! So I thought that I might as well do something to brighten up my day.

I looked on my nail and oh, my nail polish were cracked and destroyed. I had to do something about it. :)

Since I want, ever since, a polka dot nail polish, I decided to try it on my nails.

I grabbed a white nail polish from Sansan (Php37.00) and a gold nail art pen (Php20.00) which was bought from Baclaran by my sister and his boyfriend.

And tadah! Here's the final look. It's not perfect but not too bad for a first-timer right?

Sorry, it's starting to chip. I'm really careless. :(
How about you, what do you so to cheer you up? Please share it with me.

Don't forget to follow me for updates.

Nail for a DAY-- LITERALLY!

My sister and I went out strolling in the mall last time. Since I have seen many videos on Etude House's cosmetics, we went there to check some stuff.

But instead of checking on the cosmetics, I was attracted to their nail section. I have found a lot of products but I got curious with the nail stickers. I had to take one to try.

They only have a few designs. As I can remember, there were only 4 choices. One is checkered light blue and white; the other is checkered light pink and white; the other one is black with light brown floral designs and one is this, black with small white skull designs. I was supposed to take the black one with floral design but my sister didn't want it. "Para namang stockings lang", she commented.

So this is how it looks like. It is in a plastic sleeve and topped with a paper package. It is inserted in the back part of the paper to keep its presentation. There are 12 pieces of stickers on it, so weird right? Haha.

So I had to clean my nails first o remove the dirty cuticle and for the product to adhere well. I used a nail pusher, a cuticle remover and a nail brush for that, if it matters. :D

So here it is on my nails:

It is actually cute but it gives a "heavy" feeling, compared to the plain nail polish. I used a buffer to keep them in place and the same nail pusher to remove/cut the excess products.

But it was in a wrong timing, ERRRR! I had to cook dessert for my baby's birthday the next day. I had to wash the cooked tapioca balls and tadaaaa! One of the stickers fell. WAAAAH! So I decided to take the off! :( What a waste of money!

What I like about it:

  1. The package is cute. Pink is very girly!
  2. The design is nice as well.
What I don't like about it:
  1. Very expensive. This product costs 178.00.
  2. Hard to shape on nails. The stickers are bigger that my nails so I had to manually shape them which caused some to tear apart.
  3. It feels "heavy" on the nails because of the adhesive.
  4. It is not advisable for people who has a lot of activities.
